Today was quite a good day :)

To be honest…I didn’t lift, but that’s not the only thing I’ve been postponing today. Sigh. I can’t wait to stop being such a procrastinator!!

Food wise, I did great :) I’m sitting at 1200 calories, and in a while I’m going out with my girlfrans for some drinks. Yup, I know it’s a weird day to go out, but it’s one of the two nights I have free on the week.

When I come back I’m going to resume my movie night (something I’ve been doing for several thursdays now…) and watch the last half of Iron Man. I don’t know how I’m going to do it, but I’m planning on watching all 5 pre-Avengers movies so that I can go to the cinema with my brother. You see how I procrastinate? lol.

June starts tomorrow. I hope it becomes a kick-ass month, both for you and for me!

June goals :) -fitness wise-

Hhhmmkay. I suck at setting goals/organizing (how I wish I could!) but I realized I’m losing weeks and weeks of progress. I should be in the high 50s by now, but on the contrary I’m a bit over 65kg and I’m not liking it. Winter is really getting a hold of my willpower. Back in December I couldn’t remember a recent “cheat” meal (I hate phrasing it like that, but you catch my drift) because I was eating soo good. Now, I can name recent bad meals with both my hands…and I fall short.

This month is probably going to be crazy, because it’s the last month before winter break…so I’ll be content if I complete half of the list.


• Drink 2-3 liters of water every single day.
• Start carrying a water bottle to college. Otherwise, I spend all morning dehydrated
Do not accept snacks at college. No candy, no cookies, nada. I can’t even permit myself a piece because I know how awful my cravings get when I do that.
• Chew slowly. Put the fork down, have a sip of water, eat, repeat.
• Avoid unnecessary stuff: too much salt, sauces and other condiments high in sodium.
• One glass of diet soda ONCE A WEEK, if having.
• Manage to run on both Wednesdays and Sundays with my BFF Laura
• Lift 3-4x a week
• I’m in no position of having junk food right now, I have to be super strict until I see changes in my weight. However, I only get to see my girlfriends once a month, so that’s going to be my only ‘cheat meal’. That doesn’t mean I should gorge on pizza and chips, though. Just eat intuitively and manage to get enough water in.
• Keep the protein up and try to avoid high GI carbohydrates.
Eat more veggies. Specially leafy greens.

this is true, but some times the guys spend too much time on these games I’m speaking out of personal experience and from mate that spend 24/7 on games. So I can kind of understand if they guy spends too much time on a game, BUT I also agree with you

Yeah, of course! I’m not talking about guys who overkill it 24/7, but about regular guys who just want and NEED personal space, as much as we girls do. It’s not fair to them to be judged (some girls even get really mad) for doing what they like to do, whatever that may be. If we do judge them, then we can’t expect to be respected when we want to spend our time. There are two people in a relationship, and one should respect the interests/hobbies/times of the other, as long as it doesn’t become harmful to some point.

Besides…we’re talking about Diablo 3 here. Fans have waited TWELVE years to play this game. If now they’ve got the time to spend the entire week playing it, then so be it you lucky bastards! I’d be doing the same thing if I had a good computer :P

I simply cannot stand the double standard most girls have in regards of boys. The kind of girls that can do whatever the fuck they want with their free time without wanting approval (which is completely fine, don’t get me wrong) like going out with girlfriends, doing a hobbie, or whatever… but can’t even stand when guys like to do the stuff THEY LIKE TO DO. If they want to play videogames, or go out with friends, or do a hobbie, or watch football, please girls: don’t be bitches about it. Your boyfriend is not a servant or someone who has to devote all of their time to you. There’s something much needed called PERSONAL SPACE and TIME. Respect it.

It was such a good idea to turn things around and decide to run instead of being locked inside my house eating my feelings because of bad grades. As my BFF said “it’s hard when you walk out of the door, but when you finish it you feel awesome”. I don’t know how didn’t I think of running with her before!

I ran non stop for almost 8 minutes this time. 0.8 miles. I’m eager to reach the mile! Anyways, we catched our breaths for a couple of minutes after that lap and then ran a bit more. 2km in total. Then walked the way back to my place. In total, 55min walk, 12min run.

I feel good :)

I’m trying so hard not to worry about college right now. I got a 3 (a three! in maths! in FUNCTIONS, which is dumb) and a 5 (methodology. I was expecting a bit more, but considering the subject this is a pretty good grade). I’m not used to such low numbers. I slacked in maths, I admit it, because I thought I had it all learnt from last year.
So…this means I’ll go automatically to finals in math and I have to get a 9 in the second midterm of Methodology to avoid going to finals, which is IMPOSSIBURU so I guess I’ll be going to finals too. This ruined my plans for winter break, sigh.

I’m out for a run with my BFF in the first sunny day after a week of depressing, grey days. I don’t know how people in London are okay with that kind of weather errryday.
